FIRM
HISTORY and PHILOSOPHY
The firm of Mineo & Mineo
began as an aviation litigation firm based
substantially on Mr. Mineo’s prior technical history as
a practicing aerospace engineer on aircraft programs
such as the AV-8A Harrier and C-130 aircraft. Beginning
in 1970 and continuing throughout the 80’s, 90’s and now
entering the millennium, our practice has continued to
represent clients seeking damages for injuries or death
caused by or involving aircraft. We now have represented
many individuals, families, passengers, aviation crew
members, corporations, and organizations in civil cases
resulting from aviation crashes and accidents
worldwide. These crashes involve major commercial
carriers, aircraft charter flights and private aircraft.
Mr. Mineo's years of experience as an aerospace engineer
continues to enhance the firm's aviation practice.
Along with aviation, the needs of our clients for
technical expertise has drawn the firm into many areas
of products litigation ranging from military hand
grenades to industrial truck design cases that resulted
in injuries to our clients. The further needs of our
clients have involved the firm in other civil litigation
ranging from the collapse of industrial structures and
buildings, the failure of dams, to the investigations of
railroad and other transportation related accidents.
The firm's unique technical and legal combination of
expertise provides those clients that have a need for
legal representation in areas where the additional
knowledge of science, math, engineering and technology
is also required, the best representation during both
the discovery stages of litigation and at the actual
trial of the case before a jury.
Mineo & Mineo, through associated local counsel,
represent our clients in State and Federal Courts
throughout the United States. In addition to the trial
courts, we have and continue to represent our clients in
State and Federal Courts of Appeal including numerous
State and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Our past experience has provided us with the
understanding that each client is unique and requires
special attention. We fully understand and accept this
fact and take all steps possible to assure that each
client receives the type of attention that he or she
requires. We limit the number of cases we accept so that
we will not be restricted from providing the personal
service that is required for the types of clients we
represent.
